Do I need to know how to code?
No. Describe what you want to build in plain language, then use Lovable to refine it.
Who can use Build for Good?
Individuals, community groups, nonprofit teams and builders can create fundraising experiences for the charity they choose.
Do I need a Pledge account?
Yes. The person building on Lovable and authorizing the connection needs a Pledge account to process giving. Sign in with your existing Pledge account or create one — it's free and only takes a minute.
Can I support more than one charity?
For now, each campaign supports one charity. Ways to support multiple charities are coming soon.
Do I need a Lovable account to build?
Yes. Builders must sign up or log in to Lovable to build and publish a campaign. You also need a Pledge account to connect giving — both accounts are required.
How do I get the $25 subscription discount?
Verified nonprofits can find their unique code in the Pledge Impact Hub dashboard. Sign up or log in to Lovable and apply the code at subscription checkout for $25 off any Lovable subscription, which includes 100 credits. This is a subscription discount, not free credits.
Are these templates customizable?
Yes. Change the story, imagery, colors, goals and layout to fit your mission.
Where does the money go?
Donations are processed via the Pledgeling Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that regrants donations to your charity monthly. For quicker disbursement, add ACH details in your Pledge Impact Hub dashboard.
What does it cost?
Building with Lovable uses Lovable credits. Verified nonprofits can get $25 off a Lovable subscription including 100 credits. Pledge is free to use, with flexible fee options: 0% platform fees with optional donor tips, a 5% fee with the option for donors to cover the costs, or a flat 5% fee. Do my donors need a Pledge or Lovable account?
No. Donors can give through the published fundraiser without a Pledge or Lovable account. Builders do need a Lovable account to build and publish, and a Pledge account to connect giving.
